Sept 2019, Marshmallow Minds @ Monterey Design Camp as a presenter.

Jan 2020, Marshmallow Minds announced an outreach partnership with the Family Giving Tree(FGT). The FGT has been working with more than 200 Title-1 schools for the past 25 years through their Back To School Drive. This new partnership aims at bringing fun and exciting Design Thinking inspired STEAM programs to several of these Title-1 schools.

Apr 2020, Marshmallow Minds and San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory(SFBBO) launched a joint STEAM and Design Thinking curriculum development on the environment, bird conservation, and watershed stewardship. Thanks to SFBBO and Cargill for their support.

Oct 2020, Marshmallow Minds launched the S’MORE STEAM YouTube Channel as part of the vision 2025 that aims at making the entire library of lessons from Marshmallow Minds available online via YouTube.

Oct 2020, Marshmallow Minds launched the outreach partnership student scholarship program STEAMX-DT-4ALL, for Title-1 schools. Thanks to SFBBO, Applied Materials Foundation, and Marshmallow Minds donor community for their support.

Nov 2020, Marshmallow Minds partnered with the FGT as the STEAM kit provider and received 175 STEAM kits from the FGT to provide 1000 STEAM scholarships to children of first responders and Title-1 schools.

Jan 2021, Marshmallow Minds partner teacher at Grimmer Elementary, Ms Saroda Chattopadhyay, received a Science Resource Grant from Philanthropic Ventures Foundation to implement the Environmental STEAM Education on Conservation of Birds Project in her classroom.

Apr 2021, Marshmallow Minds announced a design partnership with Pensaar Design, India.

Jun 2021, Marshmallow Minds received a mini-grant award from Santa Clara Valley Water for the Environmental STEAM Education on Conservation of Birds Project. 

July 2021, Marshmallow Minds partnered with SFBBO and Boys and Girls Club of Silicon Valley to provide summer camp experience to 120 children from low-income families. Thanks to Applied Materials Foundation for their support.

Nov 2021, Marshmallow Minds and SFBBO received a grant award from Swantz Family Foundation to implement the Environmental STEAM Education on Conservation of Birds Project in Title-1 schools that serve children from under-resourced communities.

Jan 2022, Marshmallow Minds received 100 STEAM kits from the FGT and 150 STEAM kits from the SFBBO to provide free hands-on STEAM education for Title-1 school children.

Mar 2022, Marshmallow Minds partnered with the Warriors Community Foundation for their first-ever STEAM Fest at the Chase Center in San Francisco and delighted hundreds of young Warriors fans with hands-on STEAM activities. Go Warriors!!!

May 2022, the Santa Clara Valley Water District (Valley Water) awarded a Safe, Clean Water Support Volunteer Cleanup Efforts and Education Grant in the amount of $54,880 to Marshmallow Minds for the Safe Birds, Safe Waters environmental STEAM project .

July 2022, the Santa Clara Valley Water District (Valley Water) awarded a Safe, Clean Water Mini-Grant to Marshmallow Minds for piloting a new curriculum design project - A Tough Trek: Salmon Migration in a Warm Planet.

Sept 2022, Environmental Volunteers awarded “Let’s Go!” Field Trip grants to fund 4 Title-1 classrooms to visit Alviso Marine County Park and engage in habitat restoration volunteering.

Nov 2022, Mary A. Crocker Trust awarded a grant to Marshmallow Minds for piloting a new curriculum design project - A Tough Trek: Salmon Migration in a Warm Planet.

Dec 2022, Teichert Foundation awarded a grant to Marshmallow Minds for bringing the Lego Robotics Biomimicry Design STEAM Education program to 200 Title-1 school children during the 2022-23 school year.

Feb 2023, the California Coastal Commission awarded $37,750 as part of their Whale Tail grant to Marshmallow Minds for the Safe Birds, Safe Waters environmental STEAM project.

Feb 2023, a grant funding of $149,200 was awarded to Marshmallow Minds by Valley Health Foundation, through the County of Santa Clara Federal Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds under the American Rescue Plan Act to build a more resilient and sustainable organization focusing on racial equity.

Sept 2023, the Applied Materials Foundation awarded a grant funding of $20,000 to Marshmallow Minds to support STEAM education in Franklin-McKinley School District.

Oct 2023, the Franklin-McKinley School District entered into a partnership with Marshmallow Minds to introduce the STEAM After-School program in 13 Title-1 elementary schools.
